REGISTRATION RULES & PROCEDURES
- Registration is awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis so be fast!
- All participants are required to bring their Identity Cards to the event for ID verification purposes.
- All registrants are to report to the GameHaven cybercafé by 3 pm (GMT+8) on 28 February, 2009.
- Last call for Registration is 2 PM (GMT+8) on 28th February.

GameHaven is located conveniently in the middle of town, just opposite the Clarke Quay MRT. Details below.

The Clarke Quay MRT station (Eu Tong Seng Street - Exit E) is mere 3 minutes walk to the club. Simply cross the road junction and walk down the direction of New Bridge Road. Lookout for Carpenter Street, which is only 100m away.

TOURNAMENT RULES & PROCEDURES
Registrations will close on 28th February 2009, 2 pm (GMT+8). Seats are limited and awarded on a first-come-first-reserved basis.
All participants are required to bring their Identity Cards to the event for ID verification purposes.
All registrants are to report to the GameHaven cybercafé by 3 pm (GMT+8) on 28 February, 2009.
1. Bracketing and Format
a. Participants will be randomly placed in single-elimination brackets.
b. In the case where the number of participants does not fit the bracketing system, lots will be picked to choose players who will qualify for the 2nd round without going through the 1st round.
c. This tournament uses the best-of-three format.
i. Winner of each match scores a match-point regardless of score.
ii. Player who is first to win 2 match-points wins the round.
iii. Rounds are played purely on match-point system; no score aggregates are taken into account.
2. Procedures and Rules
a. Players are to report latest 5 minutes before their given match times.
b. If a player does not show up by the match’s reporting time, he/she will be disqualified.
c. Each match will be played based on this configuration:
i. Mode: 1v1
ii. Time: 3 minutes (per half)
d. Marshal will decide the player who creates the multiplayer game through a coin toss. This is because the player who creates the multiplayer game gets the first kick-off.
e. Players can choose to use their personal team or a Star-Point Team.
f. Players are allowed to use in-game items.
g. In the case of a tie in 90 minutes of the match, the game will proceed on to Extra-Time, subsequently which if scores are still tied, the game will proceed with a penalty shootout. Therefore winner of a match can and will be decided by the game.
h. Should a disconnection occur:
i. A marshal will confirm the exact score to that point, and restart the match.
ii. A marshal will inform the players on exactly how many minutes must still be played in order to complete the match.
iii. Any players sent off the field (red card) shall count as a goal each for the opponent when the match resumes.
i. If a player deliberately disconnects or leaves during a match, he/she is disqualified and his/her opponent will be pronounced as winner of the match.
j. Players who deliberately scores 2 own goals in a match will be given a warning. A subsequent own-goal (3rd) in the same match will result in immediate disqualification.
k. The winner of a match will score a match-point.
l. Players who first gains 2 match-points (by winning 2 matches first) in their rounds wins the round, and proceeds to the next round.
m. Players who fail to win at the semi-finals will have to play a 3rd-placed match to decide the 3rd placing of the tournament.
n. Prizes will be given to the top 3 places after the tournament.
o. All complaints shall be dealt with after the match has been completed.
